• May - What's Next?, Students in Our Home, A Full Semester...
  For the past year, your support has let me work full-time with Friends of Internationals a ministry to international students at the campus of University of South Alabama. It has been an amazing year of ministry, seeing new Christians grow, helping students, planting seeds, learning, traveling to students' countries, and so much more.

• March - Nepali Night, Providing for Student's Needs...
  SINCE before my first trip to their country, I have had great heart for the people of Nepal. They are generally very kind, hospitable, and quite fun to be around, so I was very excited when twenty-seven new Nepali students arrived this January to begin studies.

• February - Wedding, New Semester, Prayers
  On December 8th, Ben and Amanda exchanged vows in a gazebo on a small private lake west of Mobile. Over a hundred guests enjoyed unseasonably warm weather for the short and beautiful wedding. Joining the guests were a couple dozen international students who I know and work with.

• November - Japanese Friend, Nepali Desain Friend, Wedding, God's Provision.

  In my past monthly newsletters, I have focused on letting you know what I do with Friends of Internationals such as teaching guitar, delivering furniture, helping students get drivers licenses
  and social security cards, and being a friend who is available to talk. This newsletter, however, is going to be a bit more personal.

  "On August 20th, two hundred new international students began their studies at University of South Alabama raising the total number of students from other countries to over 1200. Nearly half of the new
  students are from India. There are also many Nepalis and Japanese and an array of students from countries all over the world..."
